The Captain must be a Political posting, or some wants to get rid of him. Seriously, Green crew? untried weapon? Does he assume that the gunners will actually hit the Target every time? or even that the Weapon will actually work? Training is not a Trifle or a waste of Munitions. (Mind you it's Point Defense, There is never enough ammo for those.)
