After finishing with this issue, do you still plan to continue the story from where you left off?
It's easy (for some of us) to criticize our own work more harshly than almost anyone else would. Your world, story, and characters have really found a permanent home in my memory. I would really love to see how things developed past this issue!
If I were smart and motivated, yes, more content.
You ARE smart. No one dumb could tell a story like this one, and draw it with art and sensibility. Motivation... I wish I'd be on he same continent.
I guess I'm not the only one that this story keeps alive.
Best regards from France.
Glad you're back at it.
Thanks for posting this, I was never able to find it all.
Aaaand of course, like every good fan boy I'm drooling at the prospect of new schtuff!!!
Maybe you should choose the "best" of the worst fan fic and do a one off of "run thrus, er, how not tos" (that was a funny line way back when!)
No one who isn't smart could have created this. But, in the absence of new content (which would be great), I'd love to see the rest of Birthright. But, if you never upload or create another thing, Thank you very much for all that you have done so far.
Albedo Vol 5 Nr. 2 coverThis would be the last complete issue, and as all too often, has one of my weaker cover art. Don't know why I can be so hit or miss on these. Sadly, I was just beginning to get back into the swing of real production on this one, all me art and such, and relatively happy with the results. So began work on the next issue with rather high hopes, only to put my whole life on hold to help deal with my Wife being diagnosed with a particularly nasty form of cancer. It would take most of the next two years to kill her. I still have the incomplete art for the next issue, though will likely rewrite it, having some years to think about what and how to tell the tale and all. Interestingly, I have been doing a lot of writing, though most of it has been fan stories, first some Tales of the Fehnnik stuff for Elin at Radio Comix, and more recently a LOT of Zootopia fan fiction. I won't go into the merit of such work, but it did give me a lot of exercise in my writing muscles, after a few hundred thousand words or so.. But about the incomplete third issue? I may post some of the art, as it was pretty good looking stuff- or at least was, as I have discovered that some of the ink has faded and the images are somewhat compromised.
